There’s an effortless vitality to When You Leave, the latest single from breakthrough singer-songwriter Alice SK, with hints of Johnny Marr’s fretwork in the angular new wave jangle pop guitars. When You Leave revisits the trend of quasi-histrionic lyrically conversational indie pop, giving fans of Kate Nash and Lily Allen a new icon to follow through the pits and falls of their diehard romanticism.
