Happy birthday to our captain- Mikel Arteta

Today Mikel Arteta celebrates his 38th birthday.

Journey of Mikel Arteta:

Mikel Arteta started his career as a youth player with the spanish club Barcelona.

After being loaned out to PSG he was sold to Glasgow Rangers.

His career in Scotland was shorted lived, but he did score a title securing penalty back in 2003.

After a brief return to his local Spain with Real Sociedad, he eventually settled in the Premier League club Everton.

After six years on Merseyside, Mikel Arteta made the move to Arsenal.

After retiring from the game in 2016, Arteta joined Pep Guardiola at Manchester City as an assistant manager.
