Attila’s Chris Fronzak Donates to MrBeast’s Team Water Campaign After Being Proved Wrong

Eat the fuck out of that crow, Fronz! You’re wrong, yet again. How unsurprising, if we’re being honest. For whatever reason, Attila frontman Chris “Fronz” Fronzak decided to open his big dumb mouth again and question a bit of good that someone is trying to put in the world.

Look, I don’t follow influencers or streamers or whatever the hell. I am, however, still somewhat familiar with who MrBeast is and what he does. This time, the YouTuber/apparent philanthropist, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, has been working on his Team Water initiative, which saw him building water wells in Africa to help get them clean fuckin water. Fronz questioned MrBeast’s efforts, claiming that the construction and maintenance of the wells was low quality and wack. He then challenged MrBeast to drop the receipts regarding audits and upkeep on the wells, saying that if he MrBeast proved the goodness to him that he’ll donate $5,000. So, as you guessed it, he’s payed MrBeast that money.

What’s the most annoying about this—and considering those involved, it was a little hard to choose—is how Fronz went about admitting his defeat and revealing his donation. “This is amazing, thank you for providing clarity. I am a man of my word, so as I promised, here is proof of my $5,000 donation! I genuinely hope you hit your goal and everything succeeds smoothly. #TeamWater,” Fronz’s Twitter post read alongside a graphic as “proof” he donated. This all came mere days after Attila basically ghosted their European tour (they literally just stopped responding. The nerve!) without any communication or notice.

It’s great he’s a “man of his word,” but this was some of the most “Obama birther conspiracy” type shit I’ve seen in a while. Either way, good on Fronz for being a man about it I guess, and even better on MrBeast, no matter how performative you think his philanthropic endeavors might be, for trying to bring some good into the world.
