Despised Icon to Release New Album ‘Shadow Work’ This October

Canadian deathcore sextet Despised Icon announced earlier today that their seventh full-length effort Shadow Work will be released later this year. It’ll represent the band’s first new pieces of music in six years.

According to the bands, Shadow Work will explore “themes of resilience and inner healing, drawing inspiration from the psychological process of confronting and integrating one’s darker aspects. It’s a deeply introspective record that reflects both personal growth and the turbulence of the world around us.’

Shadow Work will be released on October 31 via Nuclear Blast. You can preorder your copy today.
