Enthroned Invoke the “Ashspawn” in New Single

Through fire and brimstone, Belgian black metal outfit Enthroned emerged earlier today with the furious title track off their forthcoming 12th studio album Ashspawn. Described as the band’s “most ferocious and personal work,” the track was written in collaboration with occult author Gilles de Laval.

As you can hear from the clip below, “Ashspawn” is an unrelenting force. It’s a zero to 1,000 kind of track that goesn’t stop until it’s done. It runs its course with a flame-licked fervor that reall pushes the whole thing forward. With this as the album’s second single, it’s starting to seem like Ashspawn is going to kick some serious ass.
