After a stretch of high-profile releases, including “NO CAP,” their standout Anderson .Paak collaboration that recently nabbed them a Grammy nomination, Disclosure have dropped another surefire dance hit, “Deeper” with Leon Thomas.

The track marks another data point in Disclosure’s evolution, showing they are still capable of finding new temperature zones inside a sound on which they’ve been iterating for a decade. Disclosure have long mastered the art of tension-before-takeoff, and here they use it to coax us into a groove that never forces its hand.

Their latest offering opens with layered vocals folding over warm, bubbling synth textures that feel almost suspended in air. When the drums land, they do so with a subtly uplifting cadence and the kind of rhythmic confidence that has defined their catalog since Settle.

Meanwhile, Thomas threads through it all with an impassioned vocal hook, “I want to get deeper with you,” simple enough to loop endlessly without losing charge.
