Liverpool create stunning Premier League history with another late goal to beat Burnley
Liverpool have created a remarkable piece of Premier League history with yet another late winner.
The Reds took three points from their trip to Burnley thanks to a Mohamed Salah stoppage time penalty gifted by former Manchester United prospect Hannibal Mejbri.

Salah smashed past Martin Dubravka in the fifth minute of stoppage time to snatch a 1-0 victory, and the lateness of the goal certainly isn’t unusual this season.
In fact, Liverpool have set a new Premier League record by scoring a winning goal in the final ten minutes of a game four matches in a row.
That wasn’t the only bit of history either, with Salah’s strike his 188th in the competition, moving him ahead of Andrew Cole and up into fourth in the league’s all-time list.
It was also the 38th consecutive game that Liverpool have scored in, showing just how reliable Arne Slot’s reigning champions have become in front of goal.
