Luan Luan’s affecting aural aesthetic never compromises her ability to place substance above style; case in point, her latest single, Nonsense. Lyrically, the single scathingly refuses to take any prisoners and allows some of that fiery energy to sizzle through the peaks in the production and the animated heights of Luan Luan’s harmonies, but Nonsense never feels close to overwhelming.
