Paradise Lost Part Ways with Drummer, Guido Zima

Just days after coming away from their The Devil Embraced North American Tour, Paradise Lost has issued a new statement, announcing the departure of drummer Guido Zima. Which is crazy if you think about it, because Zima only joined the band in March 2023. Taking over Finnish drummer Waltteri Väyrynen, Zimo only served two years in the band.

The group shared an official statement on Zima’s departure. It reads,

“We’ve made the difficult creative decision to part ways with our drummer, Guido Zima. We thank Guido for his contributions to the band and wish him all the best in his future endeavours.

We appreciate your continued support and understanding, and we’re looking forward to the next chapter with the band.”
