Player ratings: Arsenal 3-0 Real Madrid

Arsenal put on a historic Champions League display to take a big lead into the second leg against Real Madrid, with a place in the semi-final now within touching distance.

It was a tight first half, with both teams trading blows but unable to find the breakthrough.

Arsenal then took control of the second half and were dominant on the ball from the off. Declan Rice then scored one wondergoal free kick followed by another to give The Gunners are 2-0 lead.

Mikel Merino then rifled home as Arsenal piled on the misery and grabbed a deserved third goal.
