Player ratings: Liverpool 1-0 Arsenal

Arsenal fell to their first defeat of the season after a closely contested battle at Anfield saw the sides separated by a moment of magic.

Neither team created many chances, but Liverpool struck late on when Dominik Szoboszlai saw an incredible free kick crash in off the post.

Eberechi Eze came off the bench and looked to create some chances but ultimately Arsenal found their attacking feet too late.

Men of the match: Cristhian Mosquera. Having to come on after just five minutes and play some of his first Arsenal minutes under the pressure of Anfield is some ask – and I thought he did really well. Mosquera was 92% in his passes, won 4/5 of his duels and 4 tackles.
