Sir Elton John and Spinal Tap Nail “Stonehenge” in Latest ‘Spinal Tap II: The End Continues’ Clip

It’s not often you get to have a redemption as big as the clip you’ll see below, but then again, the dudes that make up Spinal Tap aren’t your average people. We’re talkiin’ bigger stages, brighter lights, and an even bigger Stonehenge now less likely to be destroyed by the dancing little in this year’s upcoming film Spinal Tap II: The End Continues.

And as you might have also noticed, they’ve got a special guest performing the track known the world over as Sir Elton John. Talk about a glow up.

Set to release on September 12, Spinal Tap II returns to the mockumentary style and returns to see the band in its twilight years. They’ve tried (and failed) to keep up with the times and it ends up being that they’ve got one final farewell tour in.

You may recall that “Stonehenge” was one of the tracks highlighted in the original 1984 movie, but that one had a tiny 18-inch little foam approximation of the landmark. This time around, they’re not falling for that same problem again and the result is an admittedly pretty damn good stage show for a fake, comedic documentary.

In addition to the release of This Is Spinal Tap II, a behind the scenes book on the making of the original film will be released. Right now, you can watch the original film with a 4K Ultra HD restoration on Prime Video and Apple TV.

But for now, take in the clip below and bask in the glory of “Stonehenge” as it was meant to be performed.
