The Armed Release Wild Video for “Broken Mirror” Featuring Prostitute

I know I’m probably hella late to the game here, but The Armed are probably among my favorite personal “discoveries” of this year. Yes, I know they’ve been around a long time but I’d never given them a chance until their promotional cycle for their newly released album THE FUTURE IS HERE AND EVERYTHING NEEDS TO BE DESTROYED.

So when they teamed up with Detroit-based monsters Prostitute for a track on the new album, I knew I had to check out the video when it released. And now you have to too. It’s a loud, sonic overload attempting to hit you right in the senses. And it’s really fucking heavy, too.

Then there’s the video, which is just a wild fever dream caught on VHS tape. I’ve never done psychedelics, but I feel like this is close to what a bad trip at a noise rock show would feel like. Just cacophony, fucked up visual artifacts, and an unsure sense of what comes next.

Both The Armed and Prostitute are going on tour starting next Friday, so check the list of dates below and see if you can catch the madness at a venue near you.
