Judging by Ultan JP’s All in Good Time, his talent has aged less like a polite vintage and more like a barrel-aged bourbon with a burn that lingers long after the glass is drained. With a frenetically scribed-in-fire sonic signature that will turn the heads of Michael Monroe devotees, his latest release siphons some of the light from the sleaze of sunstrip rock, only to plant it back where it belongs, in dark, hedonistic bars where inhibitions dissolve into the ether.
