“He Didn’t Know It Was A Breakup Song” – Megan Moroney Fans Get Engaged During Heartbreaking Ballad, “Fix You Too”

Megan Moroney headlined the Iowa state over the weekend, where she performed her duet “Fix You Too” with Kameron Marlowe, a beautiful duet that was part of her 2023 debut album Lucky.

It finds Meg and Kameron going back and forth about how they want to be together, but they both know they have their own issues to work out and it wouldn’t be fair to the other to put them through a relationship that’s ultimately destined for failure.

While it’s a very pretty song, it is ultimately a breakup ballad, but that didn’t stop one fan from planing a proposal during this part of the concert. Here’s one angle:

And Madison, the girl who got engaged, shared her own video of what happened, saying her now-fiancé didn’t know that “Fix You Too” was a breakup song, only that it was the one she was most excited to hear, so that’s why he chose that one to get down on one knee to:

“Apparently he didn’t know it was a breakup song, just that it was the one I was most excited for.”

It makes for a great and really funny story to tell everyone they got engaged during a breakup song, and it really is the thought that counts because her fiancé just knew she loved the song and wanted to make it perfect, and that’s precious:
