Tim McGraw Says He Doesn’t “Give A Good-Damn” What Anyone Thinks About His Viral Fringe Pants

Tim McGraw was in Las Vegas last weekend for his Tim McGraw: Live in Vegas shows, which he’s playing in place of Dolly Parton’s previously-scheduled residency shows, which she postponed until 2026 due to health issues.

But it wasn’t exactly his performance that had people talking…

There’s was video a viral video of McGraw wearing some, um, statement pants, if you will, and they definitely had people talking online.

McGraw was seen onstage in what looks like suede neutral pants, which were pretty tight, and featured fringe all the way down the sides of the legs.

Of course, fans flooded the comments because it seems like the pants were all anyone could pay attention to… there were tons like this:

“I can’t unsee this.”

“My dude has raided Lainey Wilson’s closet.”

“Wow can’t believe he wore those.”

“Lainey Wilson wore them better.”

“I love this man. I love his music. I love his voice, but oh my God I cannot take my eyes off of those pants.”

“No no no. The pants gotta go.”

“Cotton tighty whities may have been a good idea.”

And they were definitely a choice.

But McGraw was not having all the comments and hoopla over the pants, addressing it with the crowd in Vegas this past weekend.

He told them he doesn’t “give a good-damn” what anybody thinks about his outfit choices after doing it for 35 years,

“I have to admit, I got some strange comments on the pants that I wore last Saturday night. So I decided to just screw it. Double-down.

I’ve been doing this for 35 years, I don’t give a good-damn what anybody thinks. That’s how my mama taught me.”

Not mincing his words… and when it comes to fashion, especially a bold choice like those pants, it’s always best to be confident and own it rather than change what you’re wearing because someone else doesn’t like it.
