MARTA Flips Moral Panic Into Midnight Mayhem on New Single, “World of the Rave”

“Do you know where your teenagers are?” MARTA asks in her new single. Well she does, and odds are they’re somewhere dancing in the dark, sweating out their worries to the track, “World of the Rave.”

The track is MARTA’s explosive homage to the nights that defined her love of electronic music. The track opens with a grainy sample from a 90s-era news report warning about rave culture before erupting into a relentless surge of pounding drums, warped vocal chops and chugging basslines.

With “World Of The Rave,” MARTA distills everything intoxicating about the culture into three minutes of pure catharsis. The rising house and techno producer transforms fear into freedom, crafting a peak-hour banger that celebrates the unbridled joy of losing yourself in moments you know you may never get back.

“‘World of the Rave’ is my tribute to the roots of rave culture,” MARTA said in a statement. “Undisclosed locations, gritty energy and the kind of night where music is everything.”
