Post Malone Joins Dierks Bentley & Zach Top As The Hot Country Knights Perform “Sold (The Grundy County Auction Incident)” In Utah

What a trio.

Last night, Dierks Bentley rolled through town with Zach Top on his 2025 Broken Branches Tour, which made a stop in Salt Lake City, Utah, at Utah First Credit Union Amphitheatre. And one of Utah’s finest, the one and only Post Malone, surprised the crowd onstage.

Top is the opener on this tour, and during the portion of the show where Zach joins Dierks and the band with their ’90s country parody act, the Hot Country Knights, for a performance of “Sold (The Grundy County Auction Incident)” as Billy Bottoms Jr., backing Dierks’ frontman persona, Doug Douglason.

Post came out in an awful mullet wig, similar to Dierks’, and joined in on the fun, making for a highlight of the night. He got really into it, and for the people at the concert, I’m sure it was a cool surprise for him to be there.
